So, tomorrow the exam! What else we can say??? uhm…oh yeah, one last thing. After all this trip we now know that:
Design in film can shape cinematic narrative or be subject matter, while films themselves can also be seen “designed” artifacts, encompassing broad theoretical assertions through visual representation. Moreover, films can both document and evoke the material realities and intellectual concerns of a particular period. Critical evaluation of films can provide design historians, scholars, and practitioners with visual and theoretical models that they might apply in apparently unrelated areas.
Actually I don’t know if this is really the end of if I’ll do other posts, for now this is all #Folks, anyway I hope you enjoyed the ride. I did.
P.S : I ask you just a thing for tomorrow. Wish me good luck

Whisky glass by Cini Boeri (for  Arnolfo di Cambio)

This is not from one of our movies…but I have to show you this. They appeared in “Blade Runner” (1982 by Ridley Scott).

I discovered about this curiosity studing for my design exam and I thought: “I have to post this” ;) . However I can link this to Milan because the designer was a milanese woman.

(This is a little out of our theme…but I’m sure you can forgive me)

Faso Film Srl comes from “Irrigazione Cinematografica”, a production company founded in 1975 by Achille Manzotti, when the young entrepreneur Achille, after reaching the pinnacle of his career with a stable of telenti including, Cochi and Renato decided to venture into the film industry producing his first film “Luna di miele in tre” which was also the first film from director Carlo Vanzina. The company also produced several films in the eighties (both art movies and comic movies) thanks to temerity of the producer who passed away in 2007.
Between these movies we can find also the production of “Sotto il vestito niente”, “Il ragazzo di campagna” and ” E’ arrivato mio fratello” …all movies on our list ;)
